The guy is just a good actor and it's clear in talking to him that he doesn't take anything for granted about his performance. He tries to think everything through. It was really nice seeing him in a little more intimate/relaxed environment. Same with Jared, he is just as warm and personable and funny in a smaller group as he is on the stage.

They really do put on a terrific show. No wonder so many of us show up to take part.
