The boys are back in town – TorCon 2014

So this was my fourth supernatural convention (all at TorCon) and

simplybeing (my partner in crime Con wife’s fifth). It seemed like we had waited forever for the Con to come around and then suddenly it was time and we were back for the second year at the Westin Harbour Castle Hotel. Because it’s the Canadian Thanksgiving over the weekend, the Harbourfront is a bit of a ghost town with not much open, but I have to say everything went easier smoother, from parking, to getting around, they had even opened a handy Tim Horton’s right beside the Convention centre, so it was all good.We even got to meet a new LJ friend this year.
etoile_etiolee mentioned she was coming to the con on her journal, so I had PM’d her to see if we could meet up and talk slash. She was adorable and fun and a great person to hang out with at a Con. Man was she nervous thought, it reminded me of my first con. We carefully talked her though the Jensen photo op. Breathing and letting go of Jensen at the end of the shoot being some of the more pertinent points. Advice I know meesasometimes has great appreciation for after her Jensen glomping incident… but I digress : PSo this may not be in order, or exactly how it happened, it's all a lovely blur, but something sort of like this happened, somewhere!

So
simplybeing and I spent this weekend at TorCon 2014, my 4th SPN Convention, her 5th. I took a ton of photos which I will get around and upload as well as posting my Con Report, but for right now I want to share the most magnificent end to a con ever. simplybeing had the presence of mind to grab my cell phone and start recording right at the beginning. Jensen had just come on stage, after a long, long day that had ended with signing a metric ton of autographs. Instead of going and falling over in his hotel or airport lounge or whatever, he came out to sing two songs for us. There were only a hundred or so people left in the audience and it was the most perfect intimate ending to a wonderful con.¤ ¤ ¤
